February 22

 Today we read and annotated a new poem by Langston Hughes. I don’t think I learned anything new today. I really liked this class discussion because these are my favorite types of classes. I also enjoyed the work because it was simple but complex enough to make me start thinking. I’m doing ok.

      The older I got, the more I realized that heartbreak never goes away. I also learned that heartbreak can be forgotten. It hurt the most when I thought about it, but when I didn’t I barely noticed it. I learned that in order to not feel heartbreak, you have to move one and try your best to forget it and have fun in life. I might have a broken heart, but I won’t sulk in my bedroom to feel it.
