17. Write about someone you forgot

        I went to visit my family in my hometown and when I was down there, I saw someone I used to call my bestie. That’s until I realized that i didn’t remember her name, only her face and the letter her name started with. I vaguely remember going to her house everyday and eating with her family. When I moved, we had a falling out so we didn’t keep in touch. If I wouldn’t have came back to visit my family, i would’ve never thought about her again.

      The older I got, the more I realized that heartbreak never goes away. I also learned that heartbreak can be forgotten. It hurt the most when I thought about it, but when I didn’t I barely noticed it. I learned that in order to not feel heartbreak, you have to move one and try your best to forget it and have fun in life. I might have a broken heart, but I won’t sulk in my bedroom to feel it.
