1. Write about a time you dressed inappropriately for the occasion

        When I was 21 years old, my friends decided to throw me a surprise dinner party for my birthday/graduation since they were roughly around the same time. Since this was a surprise, I had no clue what to wear or where I was going, so when my friend came to my apartment and told me to get ready to go somewhere I threw on a band t-shirt and jeans. We pulled up to the elegant setting and I immediately saw the contrast between my outfit and the guest attire. I felt like a stuck-out thumb as everyone surrounded me with their most elegant dresses and dress-suits. Wishing to go home and change, my friend thankfully saved me from my embarrassment and told my friends and family that she forgot to tell me the dress-code then took me home to change.
